Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:
Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang. :D
The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Madoka Magica has ended!!!! Barajou No Kiss Update

RARRARRAR What Should I put here?







Yes!!! The epic crazily mindfuck anime Madoka Magica has ended. I was watching it livestream on the day of its release. And going OMFG WHAT IS GOING ON ALL THE TIME. xD Despite all that, I love how Madoka Magica has ended and it has been very consistant with the ideas it has been selling throughout the anime, which is what many of the animes faiil to do. Ahh, bittersweet end. :heart:

So what do you think of Madoka Magica's end?

Pss: I :heart: moe Homura in Megane and pigtails~~~~ Madoka in the final episode is <3 as well~~

Besides Madoka,  I have been following Barajou No Kiss like crazy and am very very happy with its development!!!!!!!!!! AHHH~ KaedeXAnis moments~~ They are all plastered over on my phone now~~ :heart::heart::heart::heart::heart: I can't wait for my team to finally cosplay this during cosfest this year~~~ FINALLY~~~~~~~~~

Its going to be a while before I'll be able to update again due to exams TT.TT I WANT TO COSPLAY SO BADLYYYYYYYYYY!!
